Issue Position

Both government and non-profit based veteran's programs provide opportunities for the brave men and women who have served our country. I will:

*Support Green Jobs for Vets, which is one example of a successful non-profit/private partnership. It provides training leading to certification in a number of building specialties such as energy efficient retrofits of residential and commercial buildings and energy audits that can either lead to new start-ups or to employment in existing energy efficiency construction businesses.
